Rocket R NINE ONE Pressure Profiling Coffee Machine

Simply put, the Rocket Espresso R NINE ONE was developed to bring the very best of their commercial machine development programme into a machine capable of outstanding results. Designed for use in a small commercial application or home environment. Thermal stability through the Rocket Espresso fully saturated group system, coupled with digital PID temperature control. Pre and Post infusion controlled through a full pressure profiling system, using the 5 preset programmes or via manual control through the Rocket Espresso paddle system. And direct water connection or built in water reservoir, an espresso machine designed to deliver spectacular results in the cup, through both stability and flexibility of control parameters. We figured you would want to know a little more about the Rocket Espresso home espresso machine and what makes them the best home coffee machine, so here we go…

Rocket Espresso Milan introduced the R NINE ONE as the the most advanced commercial unit in a small dual boiler espresso machine body to stand in line with the iconic Giotto range. Within the Rocket Espresso machine R NINE ONE, the 3.6 + 1.9 litres boilers construction is built with a lead free brass plate to increase thermal retention, and then nickel plated for protection against copper oxidation. The saturated, paddle operated group with PID control to both boilers allows for ultimate espresso control. The R Nine One can be hard plumb or you can use the inbuilt tank operation. When plumbed, hot water temperature is also adjustable which is a highly desirable feature. And a complete highlight is the near silent, variable speed magnetic gear pump. And to top it pff, the Intuitive touchpad interface allows for setting of all parameters, programming of up to 5 pressure profiles and hot water wand operation. There was no need to consult the user manual to work out navigation, and these manual controls will create espresso without compromise. The streamlined appearance, unique styling and build quality as expected from Rocket is again obvious in the R NINE ONE.

Rocket Espresso have take features directly from their commercial espresso machine range and given the Rocket dual boiler machine superior technology that is normally only found in full sized commercial espresso machines. This philosophy dates back to the Rocket history and mission which started in the 1990’s where Ennio Berti had a strong belief that the world is ready for a coffee revolution. The R58 coffee machine, and Rocket Espresso brand, has gone through two iterations since its release to quickly become the legend it is today. Starting at the very end of the process, by creating the perfect espresso, the engineers work in reverse to create the ultimate espresso machine. Purpose built with the very best in traditional craftsmanship and technical knowledge, all to reflect the commercial machine experience at home. Yet everything about it is meticulously designed.

Rocket R NINE ONE machines not only look and are finished beautifully, they are well thought of and designed to have a modern heart inside a traditional looking yet simple exterior. Temperature control is optimised through a PID controller which controls the Rocket dual boiler coffee machine. An adjustable temperature via PID allows the user to select individual brewing temperatures for different coffee types and roast styles. Yet they have worked hard to keep flashy digital displays to a minimal in order for the machine to be at one with the barista, allowing the barista to be present in the beautiful moment that is making espresso coffee.

About Rocket Espresso

The Rocket story goes back to the early 1990’s when espresso machine engineer Ennio Berti resigns from one of Italy’s major espresso machine manufacturing companies. He believes the world is ready for a coffee revolution – a commercial quality domestic espresso machine. Starting at the very end of the process (the perfect cup of coffee), Ennio works back to create the ultimate espresso machine, and Andrew and Daniele have continued with this process. Rocket coffee machines not only look and are finished beautifully, they are well thought of and designed to have a modern heart inside a traditional looking yet simple exterior. They have worked hard to keep flashy digital displays away from visible sight in order for the machine to be at one with the barista, allowing the barista to be present in the beautiful moment that is making espresso coffee.

Common questions:
  • Are your machines pre-tested? Yes, our machines are bench-tested by the Australian Importer. This is done to test issues haven’t occured on transport from Europe. On high end and technically more complicated machines we bench test and calibrate the machines ourselves to your desired specifications. We can discuss this with you on purchase.
  • What is the warranty on machines? All new machines sold by Coffee Parts have a 12-month back to base parts and labour warranty.
  • Can the machines be financed? We use both Flexirent and Silverchef for machine finance. Call for more information 1300 129 129
